New workshop aims to curb veteran suicide during tough transition to civilian life

Summary
This study tests a 12-session workshop called STEP-Home-SP for veterans who left the military within the last three years. The workshop teaches skills to manage the transition, provides suicide prevention education, and helps connect veterans to VA care. The goal is to ease reintegration and lower suicide risk. About 120 veterans will take part to see if the program is feasible and helpful.
