Decade-Long heart battle: tiny tubes vs. pills
NCT ID NCT06908499
Summary
This study will follow 840 people for at least 10 years to see which is better for a completely blocked heart artery: implanting a small mesh tube (stent) to open it, or just using the best possible medications. The main goal is to see which group has fewer serious heart problems, like heart attacks or strokes, over the very long term. It will help doctors decide the best treatment for this common condition.
