Decade-Long heart study: do stents beat pills for blocked arteries?

NCT ID NCT06908499

Summary

This study will follow 840 people with completely blocked heart arteries for at least 10 years. It compares two standard treatments: implanting a drug-coated stent to open the artery versus using only the best available medications. The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer heart attacks, strokes, or deaths over the very long term.
