First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tested whether injecting a man's own bone marrow stem cells into the penis could help restore natural erections after prostate cancer surgery. 18 men with localized prostate cancer and normal erections before surgery took part. The main goal was to check safety, and the researchers also looked for improvements in erectile function.
