First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single injection of stem cells from umbilical cord tissue can help improve kidney function in people with stage 3 or 4 chronic kidney disease caused by diabetes or high blood pressure. Researchers will monitor kidney health and safety over 12 months in 32 adults. The goal is to see if this treatment can slow disease progression, not cure it.
