Summary
This study looks at whether taking statins can protect the heart and brain from the harmful effects of breathing bushfire smoke. Healthy adults aged 18-64 will be exposed to simulated smoke or clean air in a controlled setting. Researchers will measure changes in heart function, blood pressure, and thinking skills to see if statins help reduce stress and inflammation caused by smoke.
