First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (stereotactic radiotherapy) for people with a dangerous heart rhythm called ventricular tachycardia (VT) that hasn't improved with medication or standard procedures. The goal is to see if this radiation can reduce the number of VT episodes by at least half over 9 months, while keeping side effects low. The study will enroll 12 adults with an implanted defibrillator who have had multiple VT episodes recently.
