First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests a one-time, targeted radiation treatment for people with a dangerous heart rhythm called ventricular tachycardia (VT) that hasn't improved with medication or standard procedures. The goal is to see if this radiation can cut the number of severe episodes by at least half over a year, while keeping side effects low. It involves 12 adults with an implanted defibrillator who have had multiple VT episodes recently.
