Hope for schwannomatosis pain: new drug trial launches

Summary
This study tests two experimental drugs (siltuximab and erenumab-aooe) to see if they can safely reduce chronic pain in people with schwannomatosis, a rare condition that causes painful nerve tumors. About 40 adults with moderate-to-severe pain will receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks. The main goal is to measure changes in worst pain intensity using a standard pain scale.
