First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests two experimental drugs (siltuximab and erenumab) to see if they can safely reduce chronic pain in people with schwannomatosis, a rare condition that causes painful nerve tumors. About 40 adults with moderate-to-severe pain will receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks. The main goal is to measure changes in worst pain intensity using a standard 0–10 pain scale.
