Hope for schwannomatosis pain: new drug trial launches

Summary
This study tests two experimental drugs, siltuximab and erenumab, to see if they can safely reduce chronic pain in people with schwannomatosis, a condition that causes painful nerve tumors. About 40 adults with moderate-to-severe pain will receive either a drug or a placebo. The main goal is to measure changes in worst pain over 12 weeks.
