Summary
This study tested tiny particles with microneedles (STAR particles) on the skin of 20 healthy adults. The goal was to find the best way to apply them to create small punctures that could help future topical medications work better. No active drugs were used. The study measured skin water loss and pain to see which application method was most effective and tolerable.
