First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a three-day simulation-based training program, followed by a year of mentoring, can improve the skills of newborn care providers in Nepal. About 240 doctors, nurses, and paramedics from special newborn care units will take part. The goal is to see if better training leads to fewer deaths from birth asphyxia and hypothermia.
