Summary
This study tests an app called StandUPTV that reminds adults to get up after about 30 minutes of sitting and watching screens in the evening. The goal is to help people build a habit of moving more, which may improve sleep, blood sugar, and overall health. About 48 adults who are not very active and spend over 3 hours a day on screens will try the app for several weeks.
