Summary
This study tests whether using a standardized checklist (AnesList) when anesthesiologists hand over patient care in the operating room can reduce deaths, serious complications, or hospital readmissions within a month after major surgery. About 1,120 adults undergoing major surgery will take part. The goal is to see if better communication between doctors leads to safer outcomes.
