Summary

This study tests whether using a standardized checklist (AnesList) when anesthesiologists hand over patient care during major surgery can reduce deaths, serious complications, and hospital readmissions within a month. About 1120 adults having major surgery will take part. The goal is to see if better communication between doctors leads to safer outcomes.
