Summary
This study looks at whether using a standardized checklist (AnesList) when anesthesiologists hand over patient care in the operating room can reduce serious problems like death, major complications, or return to the hospital within a month after major surgery. About 1,120 adults having major surgery will take part. The goal is to see if better communication between doctors leads to safer outcomes.
