Summary
This study is testing whether giving financial bonuses to staff at HIV service organizations improves how consistently and skillfully they deliver a brief counseling session for substance use. It involves staff and their adult clients living with HIV across the United States. The goal is to learn if this 'pay-for-performance' strategy is a good way to get helpful counseling to more people who need it.
