New disc injection shows promise for sciatica sufferers

Summary
This early-stage study tested an injection called STA363 in 25 people with sciatica from a herniated disc. Half got the real injection, half got a placebo. The main goal was to see if the injection is safe and tolerable. Researchers also looked at whether it shrinks the disc and reduces leg pain.
