New drug SRG-514 tested during breast cancer surgery

Summary
This early-phase trial tests a new drug called SRG-514, which is applied directly to the tumor site during breast-conserving surgery. The goal is to find the safest dose and see how the body handles it. About 24 adults with breast cancer are taking part. This study focuses on safety and dosing, not on curing the disease.
