NCT ID NCT02877394

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a 7-inch footstool while on the toilet can improve constipation symptoms. Researchers will compare it to a very low (2-inch) sham stool. About 85 adults with chronic constipation will track their bowel movements to see if the higher stool helps them go more easily and regularly.
