Sniffing out cancer: dogs and AI team up to detect breast cancer from breath

Summary
This study is testing a new way to detect breast cancer using a person's breath. About 1,200 women scheduled for routine breast cancer screening will breathe into a mask. The breath samples will be analyzed by trained dogs and an AI system to see if they can accurately identify breast cancer. The results will be compared to standard screening methods like mammograms or biopsies.
