Sniffing out cancer: dogs and AI team up to detect breast cancer from breath

Summary

This study aims to see if a new test, using trained dogs and artificial intelligence, can detect breast cancer from a person's breath. About 1,200 women scheduled for routine breast cancer screening or biopsy will provide a breath sample by breathing into a mask. The results from the dogs and AI will be compared to standard medical tests to see how accurate the breath test is.
