Summary

This study looks at whether a Nihon Kohden pulse oximeter accurately measures blood oxygen levels in children with different skin colors. Researchers will enroll 180 children aged 0-12 who are in the cardiac intensive care unit and already have an arterial line. The goal is to see if skin tone affects the device's readings, which could help make oxygen monitoring more fair and accurate for all children.
