First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a dietary supplement made from omega-3s (called SPM) can reduce blood vessel inflammation and improve artery function in 60 adults with obesity and high blood pressure. Participants will take the supplement or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if boosting the body's natural inflammation-resolving processes can lower the risk of heart attack and stroke.
