Summary
This study tested whether gentle electrical stimulation on the skin over the upper spine could improve arm and hand strength, control, and spasticity in people with traumatic brain injury. Fourteen participants were enrolled, including those with brain injury and healthy volunteers. The goal was to gather information to help design future treatments using implanted spinal cord stimulators.
