New protein fibers aim to help bones fuse after spine surgery
NCT ID NCT06000319
Summary
This study is testing whether a new material called Natural Matrix Protein (NMP) fibers can help bones heal together properly after spinal fusion surgery. The research will follow 200 patients who have had neck or lower back surgery for conditions like degenerative disc disease or spinal stenosis. Doctors will check if the bones fuse successfully, monitor pain and disability levels, and track any complications for one year after surgery.
