Spinal implant trial aims to reconnect movement for paralyzed patients

Summary
This study is testing whether a surgically implanted electrical stimulation device can help restore movement and sensation in people with chronic spinal cord injuries in their lower back. Ten participants will have the device implanted and activated, then undergo regular assessments and rehabilitation training over six months. Researchers will measure changes in walking ability, daily independence, muscle stiffness, pain, and mood to see if the stimulation helps improve function.
