Spinal stimulator trial aims to reconnect movement and feeling

Summary
This study is testing whether a surgically implanted electrical stimulator can help restore movement and feeling in people with recent spinal cord injuries in the lower back. Ten participants will have the device implanted and activated, then their walking ability, independence, and quality of life will be tracked for six months. The goal is to see if this stimulation, combined with rehabilitation, can improve function beyond what is possible with current treatments.
