Scientists search for Body's pain signals in spinal fluid
NCT ID NCT07153211
Summary
This study aims to understand how spinal cord stimulation (SCS) works to relieve chronic nerve pain. Researchers will measure specific chemicals in the blood and spinal fluid of 30 patients before and after they receive SCS treatment. The goal is to learn which body signals are linked to pain relief, which could help doctors better predict and personalize future treatments.
