New heart ablation system under study for persistent AF

Summary
This study is testing a new catheter and ablation system (Sphere-9 and Affera) to treat persistent atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heartbeat. About 200 adults with this condition will receive the procedure and be followed for 3 years. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and helps keep the heart in normal rhythm without needing more drugs.
