Summary
This study tested a smartphone app that analyzes voice recordings to see if it can accurately diagnose mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's disease. Researchers compared the app's diagnosis to a doctor's clinical diagnosis in 150 adults aged 50 and older. The goal was to see if voice analysis could be a simple, non-invasive tool to help detect these conditions.
