Does the 'Crack' make a difference? study tests Sound's effect on neck pain
NCT ID NCT06934122
Summary
This study is testing whether hearing the cracking sound during a neck manipulation treatment changes how much pain relief people feel. Researchers are comparing two groups of adults with non-specific neck and upper back pain: one group receives treatment with the audible sound, and one without. They measure pain, satisfaction, and disability levels before and 48 hours after the single treatment session.
