Summary

This early-stage study tests whether repeatedly opening the blood-brain barrier with ultrasound is safe and might slow disease progression in people with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). 23 adults with ALS will receive 9 ultrasound sessions over 24 weeks. The goal is to check safety and look for early signs of effectiveness.
