New blood test could spot hidden sarcoma cells

Summary
This study will enroll 100 adults with advanced or metastatic soft tissue sarcoma to develop a method for detecting and sorting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from blood samples. Researchers will also analyze the genetic makeup of these cells and attempt to grow tumor organoids. The goal is to improve how the disease is monitored and managed, not to test a new treatment.
