First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study compares two techniques for preserving the jawbone after a tooth is pulled, especially when the front part of the socket has a small defect. Thirty healthy adults who need a tooth removed and have a small bone gap will be randomly assigned to one of two methods. The goal is to see which technique better maintains bone shape and size for future dental implants.
