Summary
This study tested whether Facebook ads and a tailored online tool called LungTalk could increase awareness and knowledge about lung cancer screening among high-risk individuals. Over 500 current or former heavy smokers participated. The goal was to see if social media can effectively reach people who should be screened and encourage them to talk to their doctor.
