First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether online referrals from doctors to the WIC food program help more pregnant women enroll. About 240 pregnant women on public insurance or uninsured took part. Some got usual care, others got a direct referral or extra dietitian support. The goal was to see if digital connections boost enrollment and health.
