This study tested a program called MASC (Mindful and Self-Compassionate Care) to help caregivers of people with Alzheimer's or related dementias manage stress. 82 caregivers took part in a pilot trial to see if the program was practical and helpful. The program teaches mindfulness, self-compassion, and skills to handle challenging behaviors.
