NCT ID NCT06554873

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether smokers who quickly reduce their cigarette use with nicotine products (like patches, e-cigarettes, or pouches) can keep that progress for 6 months. 150 healthy adult smokers who cut smoking by at least half in the first 2 weeks were followed. The goal was to see if using these nicotine alternatives helps them stay smoke-free or keep smoking less.
