Summary
This study tests a program to help smoking parents quit by combining brief advice, nicotine replacement therapy, and text message support. Researchers will enroll 1,200 daily smokers in Hong Kong who live with children aged 12 or under and a non-smoking family member. The goal is to see if this approach helps parents stop smoking and reduces children's exposure to secondhand smoke.
