Summary

This study aimed to help low-income pregnant women in Texas quit smoking and make their homes smoke-free. Smoking during pregnancy raises the risk of cancer and can cause low birth weight, which harms babies. The program offered support and referrals to services during pregnancy and after birth. About 191 women were expected to take part.
