Summary
This study tracked the smartphone use of 171 adolescents and young adults to understand different screen time patterns, from low to excessive use. Participants installed an app that recorded their daily phone activity and filled out questionnaires about sleep, mood, and motivation. The goal was to see how screen use relates to health and well-being, and to identify who might be at risk for excessive use.
