Summary

This study observed how 171 adolescents and young adults use their smartphones in daily life. Participants installed an app that tracked their screen time and app usage, and completed questionnaires about sleep, mood, motivation, and health. The goal was to identify different screen-use profiles—from low to excessive—and see how they relate to well-being and other factors.
