First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app (CHESS Health Connections) helps people with alcohol-related liver disease stop drinking. About 298 participants will use the app alongside usual care for up to 6 months. The goal is to see if the app increases days without alcohol and reduces the number of drinks, which could slow liver damage.
