Smart bandage zaps chronic wounds to speed healing

Summary

This study tests a new bandage called exciflex that delivers small electrical pulses to help heal chronic wounds in Veterans with diabetes or spinal cord injury. The bandage can stay on for up to seven days without being changed. Researchers will measure wound size, temperature, and blood flow to see if it works better than standard care.
