Summary
This study is testing whether using smaller tubes to collect blood for lab tests can help reduce the need for blood transfusions in intensive care patients with anemia. Researchers will compare patients who get blood drawn with small tubes to those who get standard tubes, looking at how many need transfusions, how long they stay in the hospital, and survival rates. The goal is to see if this simple change in equipment can improve patient care and conserve blood supplies.
