Summary
This study is testing whether using smaller tubes to collect blood for lab tests can reduce the need for blood transfusions in intensive care patients with anemia. Researchers will compare patients using the small tubes to those using standard tubes to see if it lowers transfusion rates, length of hospital stay, and mortality. The goal is to find a simple, low-risk way to help conserve patients' own blood.
