First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining a small surgery to remove blood clots from the brain with a drug called deferoxamine can help people recover better after a brain bleed. About 240 adults with moderate to severe bleeding will be randomly assigned to get the combo treatment or standard care. The goal is to see if this approach improves long-term function and reduces disability.
