First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining a small surgery to remove blood clots from the brain with a drug called deferoxamine helps people recover better after a brain bleed. About 240 adults aged 18 to 80 with moderate to severe bleeding will be randomly assigned to receive the combination treatment or standard care. The goal is to see if this approach improves long-term function and reduces disability.
