NCT ID NCT07460544

First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests if a family-based weight management program can slow down the start of puberty in 240 overweight girls aged 6.5 to 8. Half the families will join a 5-month program focused on healthy eating and exercise, while the other half will receive usual care and monthly handouts. Researchers will track the girls' development for 3 years to see if the program helps delay puberty and improve long-term health.
